Job Summary:

This job is responsible for carrying out responsibilities relating to assigned client relationships and general office/banking needs.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

  • Provide fiduciary support and expertise to meet the needs of clients in support of the integrated deliver of products and services;
  • Work closely with the Trust Team in defining client's requirements including legal and tax aspects, coordinating the service needs;
  • Assist the Trust Team with marketing and cross-selling a myriad of bank services continuing the Trust's book of business;
  • Estate Planning/Financial Planning considerations:
    • Administration of Trust Division general fiduciary accounts:
      • Administer document directions
      • Communicate with customers
      • Preserve assets
      • Invest funds
      • Payment of bills and liabilities
      • Tax considerations and filing responsibilities
      • Oversee Medical, life and nursing home insurance policies and claims
    • Administration of Estate Accounts:
      • Marshall and safe keep assets
      • Disposition of Personal Property in accordance with directions
      • Liquidation of assets to satisfy liabilities and ultimate distributions
      • Income tax considerations and requirements
      • Death tax considerations and requirements
      • Legal/Court requirements and filings
      • Insurance Claims — Medica 1/Life (other)
      • Satisfaction of appropriate claims by creditors
      • File for refunds where applicable
      • Finalize burial needs and arrangements
      • Coordinate with family members and/or beneficiaries
  • Regular and predictable attendance


Additional Responsibilities (Non-essential Functions of the Job):

  • Communicate and implement courier needs with Main Trust Office; Administration of IRA Accounts, including but not limited to:
    • Investing
    • Tax reporting
    • Distributions
    • Contributions
    • Reviews
  • Monitor Reno County CD rates for the bank;
  • May require additional responsibilities as described in non-related Job Descriptions
  • Coordinate with bank retail and loan activities and assist where possible as appropriate


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Actual Trust experience desired but not required;
  • Completion of specialized trust training;
  • Knowledge of Trust systems;
  • Knowledge or retail and loan products;
  • Knowledge of banking operating systems in general
  • Knowledge of general banking;
  • Skilled in customer relations;
  • Skilled in cultural diversity working with a diversified category of clients;
  • Basic computer skills required;
  • Skilled in multi-tasking;
  • Self motivational skills;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Time management skills;
  • 5-10 years of Trust experience;


Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work hours outside and in excess of normal business hours;
  • May require travel to other Peoples Bank and Trust locations;
  • May require traveling to educational seminars/schools;

JOB SUMMARY:Performs all duties of paying and receiving teller as well as specific assigned misc. duties for that area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Essential Functions of the Job)

  • Greet customers with a smile.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers at all times.
  • Thank customer for their business.
  • Perform all paying & receiving teller functions.
  • Assist with processing items in night depository as needed.
  • Issue Money Orders, Cashier Checks and Gift Cards.
  • Assist with mail deposits as needed.
  • Process and remit Credit Card payments.
  • Prepare Cash Advance transactions.
  • Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
  • Answer teller related issues on incoming phone calls.
  • Complete Proof operations for all transaction tickets:
    • Scan all items
    • Batch items and prepare them to send to DCI
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Will be require to train to be a CSR.
  • May require various other responsibilities as described in non-related Job Descriptions.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Full knowledge of paying & receiving teller tasks & responsibilities.
  • Full knowledge of automated DCI Teller (on-line teller system).
  • Working knowledge of the iCore data base system.
  • Full knowledge of policies & procedures relating to paying & receiving tellers.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Work well with co-workers in a confined area.
  • Work variable daytime hours.
  • This will be a floater position.
  • Work on Saturday rotation.
  • Light to moderate lifting required.
  • Standing may be required 60%-70% of the time.
  • Work additional times as needed.
